The Edan U60 Portable Diagnostic Ultrasound System is a compact and state-of-the-art medical device with state-of-the-art and advanced imaging technologies designed to provide hospitals, clinics, or medical facilities a wide range of applications to fit any imaging needs. It is an ideal choice for applications that include abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, cardiac, pediatric, MSK, Urology, and small parts.
Robust Construction.
With a high-resolution, 15″ monitor, the U60 Portable Diagnostic Ultrasound System is optimized for easy viewing. Its lightweight and small-form-factor design facilitate quick and hassle-free mobility. The Ultrasound System has an intuitive control panel that makes it easy to learn and use. It has a battery operation of up to 60 minutes for uninterrupted workflow and dual transducer ports that allow 2 transducers to be connected simultaneously. It also multiple peripheral ports that enable hassle-free connectivity and image archiving.
Advanced Technologies.
The U60 Portable Diagnostic Ultrasound System provides excellent image quality, contrast resolution, and uniformity. Producing excellent color and Doppler sensitivity, the Ultrasound System detects small, low flow vessels without problems. The standard system configuration includes Speckle Reduction Technology (eSRI), Spatial Compounding Technology, Multi-Beam Technology, and Phase-Inversion Tissue Harmonic Imaging.
Speckle Reduction Technology (eSRI)
Using an advanced multi-scale anisotropic filtering algorithm, Edan’s speckle reduction imaging technology improves contrast resolution while maintaining the details. It uses real-time image processing that improves visualization of anatomy and pathology by reducing the speckle noise. The filtering technology separates the regions of noise from diagnostic information by reacting differently on true anatomic information versus noise which enhances image clarity.
Spatial Compounding Imaging
Combining multiple images gotten at different angles, the Spatial Compounding Imaging forms a single image with improved quality. It utilizes multiple lines of sight to improve contrast resolution with reduced speckle noise and enhanced contrast.
Multi-beam Technology
The Multi-beam technology adds different signals together to produce multiple focus beams that improve spatial resolution. It maintains high frame rates in all modes including color and pulse wave Doppler.
Phase-Inversion Harmonic Imaging
The Phase-Inversion Harmonic Imaging is designed to reduce image noise and clutter. Harmonic Signals are produced as ultrasound waves that proliferate through the body. Since these signals are produced in the body, they are not influenced by artifact inducing fat near the skin surface. The produced image is pure harmonic with a reduction in clutter artifact that degrades the image.
