Father’s Day is tomorrow. How do you plan on celebrating your father?
It can look different for every person, whether you’re celebrating your father, spouse, step-father, brother, or a role model. Regardless of who they may be, this is that one special day every year to celebrate these wonderful men in our lives.
Not sure what to do for Father’s Day 2022? Here are a few ideas:
-
Spoil him with breakfast in bed
Breakfast in bed doesn’t have to be just for Mother’s Day! Dads can enjoy it too! Whip up some of his favourite brunch treats which will kickstart his day in the best way possible. Shop for any of our range of health and wellbeing products here to accompany meals.
-
Have an indoor or outdoor picnic
Picnics have thrived throughout the ages for a reason. It is a great way to spend time and enjoy each other’s company in an affordable way. The idle-banter, the chit-chat, the good-natured jesting; all play a part in making us more aware of what is going on in the lives of our family. I’m sure dad will enjoy reconnecting with loved ones through this amazing activity.
-
Cook something adventurous
Think outside the box and create a meal of something you haven’t made before. Tackling a complex recipe may seem challenging but the memories and the meal will all be worth it!
-
Host a friendly family competition.
Come up with a series of games to compete as a whole family. You could play board games like Scrabble, Kenya@50, Jenga and Monopoly, or video games like FIFA, Tekken and Mortal Kombat. It would be an added bonus if there are prizes involved!
-
Do a blindfolded beer taste test
Go to your nearest supermarket and grab 6 different kinds of beer or non-alcoholic beverages that vary in style and flavours. Then, blindfold Dad and see if he can guess which one is which! Fun, right?
The list could go on and on. In the end, you’re the one who knows your dad best. The thing is…anything you choose to do, I’m sure your father or father figure will truly appreciate. Whether or not you choose to do the things on this list, we hope it gave you the needed inspiration to get you started!
