Harley’s Ltd is looking for a Diabetes Educator with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in diabetes education or clinical roles to work in our Getz Pharma line, Pharmaceutical Business Unit. The role shall be based in Nairobi, with occasional field activities and reporting to the Project Manager of the Diabetes Educator Program. The role partners with endocrinologists and physicians to provide personalized, evidence-based education to diabetes patients with the goal of transforming diabetes care and education, the objective being is to empower patients to manage their condition effectively, achieving improved health outcomes.

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, pharmacy, nutrition, or a related field.
• Certification as a Diabetes Educator (preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in diabetes education or clinical roles.
• Proficiency in emerging treatments, exceptional communication skills, and cultural sensitivity.
• Patient Education: Providing complete and appropriate solutions for every customer to boost top line revenue and growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability.
• Clinical Support: Collaborate with clinicians to create and implement patient care plans, facilitate communication, and address barriers to care.
• Program Development: Design and execute diabetes education programs, assess their effectiveness, and improve interventions.
• Community Engagement: Lead awareness initiatives, collaborate with local organizations, and advocate for equitable diabetes care.
• Data Management: Maintain accurate records of patient outcomes and report insights for program enhancements.
